Skileik at Lommedalen Skisenter
Fun on the slopes, confidence and active afternoons after school.
This season, we are once again offering Skileik on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 13:30 to 17:00 for pupils in grades 1–6 at Anna Krefting, Gullhaug and Lommedalen schools.
Children can play and develop their skiing skills at their own pace, in a safe and supportive environment under adult supervision.
What Children Can Look Forward To
We offer fun activities such as jumps, slalom, parallel slalom and ski cross. Activities take place on both slopes, and participation in organised activities is optional.
Assistants and adults ski alongside the children. Skiing in the woods is not permitted during Skileik.
Dates and Duration – 2027
Please note: 9 weeks of Skileik this season, compared with 10 previously. As Easter falls early, the programme is one week shorter this season.
Tuesday group:
First Skileik: Tuesday 12 January. Last Skileik: Tuesday 16 March.
Thursday group:
First Skileik: Thursday 14 January. Last Skileik: Thursday 18 March.
No Skileik during the winter school holiday in week 8 (22–28 February).
Each group has 9 weeks of Skileik, with a break for the winter school holiday.
Registration and Prices
Registration opens in the online shop
on 1 November at 10:00.
You can choose Tuesday or Thursday, regardless of which school your child attends.
With a season pass: NOK 3,200
Without a season pass: NOK 3,700
Practical Information
School Pick-up
Children are collected from their schools by bus. Adults from Skileik organise the pick-up and accompany the children on the bus to Lommedalen Skisenter.
Equipment Storage and Getting Ready
Ski equipment can be stored in lockable storage cabins at Lommedalen Skisenter. Each child is assigned their own numbered space, and equipment can be left there from week to week.
Adults and assistants from Skileik help the children put on their equipment so they can get out onto the slopes as quickly as possible.
Please label all equipment with your child's name. Equipment is stored at your own risk.
Food
A simple, home-cooked meal is served.
Lift Operating Times and Pick-up
The T-bar lift runs until 16:30, while the children's lift runs until 17:00. All children must be collected by 17:00.
Severe Weather
Skileik takes place outdoors. If weather conditions make skiing unsafe, Skileik may be cancelled at short notice. Parents or guardians are then responsible for collecting their children from school. It is therefore important that parents or guardians can be reached by phone.
Communication
Once registration has closed, we will create a dedicated Spond group. All information about Skileik will be shared via Spond.
